Today dear poet, I am visiting some of the poetry I have favorited, and I am once again thrilled to read your incisive sway, to our; "Internal Image" sir! Such a gift you have Mr. Spence, Sr. ! And, 'it is' an honor to read a poet of such prominence ! Your guidance and scrutiny of my writes, (if ever you had the leisure to do so), would be of great importance to me, because I do revere not only your writes, yet too, your deftnesss, and credentials! TY, and have a great week...much love, james

I like your thoughts on negativity. I have never thought of it in that way but I believe that is a correct thought.

Thanks everyone for the comments and questions. Regarding the title of the haiku poem, I normally write the haiku then think of an appropriate title. There are times when I write the poem in the opposite manner; however 90% of the time, I write the poem first. Hopefully this helps. ~Joseph

Hey Joseph! A cleverly thought out piece that holds much truth. This gives something to ponder on..."peel away layers" of "negativity", only to "behold emptiness". Very inspiring write! God bless you and yours, Joseph! Thank you for sharing this with us! Best to you...Mikki
