An Ode To Demetrious Trifiatis
Kind eyes peer
out of pages
gentle features
of grace replace
calculated poses
touched by
the sun-The sun
brush-stroked
color --into his
cheeks and face
hints of roses.
And yes
I believe
my eyes as they
report.
No doubt-
Obviously we have
met here before..
Yet unscathed
by this world
We come back
There could be more
like us
So we are here
to watch and wait
