Insurance Claim Realization Laced With Moonlight

owl is perched up high
the dark of night radiates its beauty
though it came close to getting killed on my windshield
i relish the owl's symbolism of nature

two young deer feed on grass
the brightness of the high beams spook the two does
one of them rams the back passenger door of the car where said high beams dwell
though they came close to being a blood splatter landmark on the asphalt
i relish the two does' symbolism of nature

as home invasions continue to be legally committed
expect to be startled in this modern lifetime
a realization must be reached that these and other wild animals were here first
they have their own way of letting you know about it
i myself just deal with it and drive on to work....wishing i was still in bed
