Instilling Hope Where I Can

It is the best of the worst. I say this optimistically. Instilling hope where I can. Pulling us up statistically.

It is all we have some days, and when I read stories of people who have survived and surpassed unbearable odds, I know faith and hope cannot be discounted.

We do need a refresher course in having hope, through these worst of times. A hopeful message.

Thank you Sandra. It is my daily task and I am getting pretty good at it. I am an elementary school counselor, running from child to child, helping them learn how to put out their own hurts with soothing self strategies.

Thank you Brandy. I shall do this forever. I said to myself "Is four lines enough?" and myself laughed, so I knew it was.

Me, too - for surely somewhere there lingers a still green grass blade. I like! Poetry hugs ... CayCay (btw, your contest has made my family crazy. I was so indecisive about what to save that I interviewed all. Together, we ruled out all 'stuff' insurance would replace. Now I'm down to quilts, paintings, embroidered pics, antiques, etc., of sentimental value. Oh, love letters. Can't choose. Oh, my letters. Accept that I died in my fire, with all my things - and know I tried!) smile w/ me

Hilarious! If it did one thing though, it made the family THINK, and when you are gone, which hopefully will be a hundred years from now, Cay Cay, they might remember what you would have kept. This is important! Then you know your Great-grandma's broach will not go to the thrift stores.
