I wish to forget myself
via mutual fascination ~
anything less, leaves me empty

Haha ooh the glory bestowed on my little NA lol - to be fair I was really happy with how this one turned out as it captured something really difficult to express about human connection. You can use it of course! If anyone makes a million out of it, do ensure they send me a cut haha :) thanks for the fave and the masses of enthusiasm :D

Another thought provoking piece LG, I’m guessing that a mutual fascination with the self will cancel itself out eventually, unless of course the unseen reader or viewer is enough to satisfy one’s needs, certainly some deep reflecting going on here, and I’m probably just seeing the surface, cheers David

Oh a good resistance band, is a great alternative for assisted pull-ups, just loop it over the bar and put a foot in the other end, you could try a bit of rowing, one of the most underrated machines, but sounds like you have everything under control :)

This new gym doesn't have my favourite arc trainer and I'm missing it. I currently don't have a new favourite machine :( although they do have the assisted pull up machine I'd craved for months - I just need to get a rhythm with it to see progress. Definitely all work and no posing lol

If you look too good in the gym then you’re definitely not putting enough effort in :) so sounds like a good workout to me!

I agree - just at the gym right now and I'm only for stealing the odd glance in the mirror - I've a tendency to think the sirens were fuelled by being desired - it's pretty compelling when I've locked in on it myself. Ha maybe if I was playing the lute with long flowing hair rather than sweaty in my gym gear that mirror might have more appeal! Happened to experiment once with taking a photo when being flattered and I'd swear I was x5 better looking than 10 seconds before lol - thanks for your thoughts on this one :)

It's pretty fun when paired with the images although I kind of wrote it when in a mood haha :)

Oh my gosh, my eyes crossed. After reading your winning poem with Brian, I had to check you out. I don't know if our paths have crossed before. Oh, I read it again and it IS a well penned tickling brain twister teaser for me.

It's much easier when presented with all the film stills of Cindy photographed alone seemingly needing the viewer to validate her existence. Her expression on each photo is quite haunting. Thank you for engaging with this one CayCay :) I think you commented once or twice when I wrote under a different pen name :)
