Inspiration
I sit amazed, hushed by mother nature’s waterfall glen
As her rushing waters cascade inside my earthly soul
Against the water’s tender current hides my secret den
A haven of quiet against the tempest that is my console
In the stillness of dawns’ aurora of early morning light
My heart tempers faith like the soft fall of steely mist
Droplets hang from moss and fern glistening silver bright
My cheeks and lips a soft caress as if a fairy had kissed
Gentle is the wind that wraps me completely inside of thee
Bathed anew in your healing hold and natural soothing bliss
No longer yearn as quietude transcends my open eyes to see
In your loving embrace my life is an inspiration to exist
