Insomnia
To sleep has never had me so afraid/
Knowing of the monsters that lay in wait/
Sometimes I hate my imagination/
Fearing each and every new creation/
The monsters warnings I always heed/
They know my fears and they know my needs/
What scares me most is they know my wants/
My mind was fine 'til I heard their taunts/
Dark visions of power,
Every single night/
I count the hours,
Till I lose my mind/
Sometimes I wake up screaming,
Sweating, But cold to the touch/
The demons that i've been dreaming,
I fear they know far too much/
Like crows, feeding on my pleas/
Picking apart my reality/
Dark beings of power,
Every single night/
I count the hours,
Till I lose my mind
