Insomnia

I haven’t slept right in weeks, and come to think of it, it’s been a while…

I’m filled with sadness, pain, and anger, but still… I smile…

You may ask me what’s wrong…. and I front with a disguise,

But if you listen very closely, and you’ll hear my cries, through my replies

and then I may tell you there’s nothing wrong, and just shrug it off with jokes,

But all the while, the picture I paint is vivid, with very few strokes..

Its never easy to disclose what I feel, or even wear my emotions on my shirt,

So excuse me if we cannot laugh at my pain, or feel my torment when I hurt…
