Insight
Sometimes you feel like you’re in a bind,
nothing to get worried about
cause it happens time to time.
Sometimes you act like you’re in a cage,
fighting so hard to get ahead,
relax, you’re doing fine.
Insight.
Daylight breaks, but your eight hours gone.
Stop trying to win every game,
play will still go on.
Life’s a race they like to say these days,
but you can’t win trying to sprint
a god-damned marathon.
Insight.
Feeling as if you’re behind the rush,
but half the world is lazy fools
who never tried their luck.
See those icons strutting on TV,
but they never talk about
how much they gave up.
Insight.
Success is great, and worth a struggle long,
but what’s the use if you never sing
any other kinds of songs?
You say you’re gonna be the first one there,
striving hard but forgetting
what you’ve desired all along.
Insight.
