Inside My Mind

No immigrants allowed
no women either
no people with hearts
none of the suffering
my mind is full
of torment and pain

oh I could fit you in
of that have no doubt
no matter the insanity
I would never inflict
such horrors on others
the darkness ties my limbs
the pain, blood trickles

If only I could escape this
prison
I would love to smell the flowers
and walk in gardens
with all of you
in shackles of depression
there is a flicker of love
somewhere
out there

Arthur, you point out so well just how damaging and difficult it is to live with depression and torment. It shows how bad it is for people who suffer even though they may hope for something better. It's so difficult for people with these moods. We wish we could get help for everyone suffering like this. Smiles, of course!!
