Inseparable

When first saw you
I did not know
that I love you.

But you smiled
your dimples deepening
it was then I knew.

Your voice
can belt out any song,

your smile as soft
as satin.

Our kisses linger,
on my lips for days

your hands locked in mine,
you looked at me and said,

I love you.

I knew then,
we would be together forever.

But then,
I woke up.

To watch you go by,
wishing it was true,

was pain,
but singing

put us together
and now

You love me,
you tell me every day.

Now your hands are locked in mine
as they drift to my face

to sneak a kiss
that I know will linger.

You smile at me after,
as if to say,

Sorry,
I couldn't help myself.

And your dimples
flash at me

and then you said

we're inseparable.
