In the shadowed corners of my thoughts, In a whisper, not heard, l i n g e r s— unseen by the eye but felt. A tremor under my skin, a pulse of doubt's steady march, where questions collide with silence, I own rooms in these echo chambers which contain scattered dreams Sometimes in what seems like perpetual night.

Thank you for penning this Sara, it is so very real in many ways. I have felt thus, and to see it penned as you have done makes me realize, I am not alone. You wrote this so well. <3

Bj, yes, with any emotion or in our thoughts we are not alone because someone, somewhere has had the same going on. When it comes to humanity, we are never alone. Jesus walked this earth in human form, and He understands as well. Sara K

"I own rooms in these echo chambers" is a chilling and vulnerable confession, Sara. This kind of self-reflective admission is the heart of poetry, in my opinion. I have a hard time reading irregularly spaced verse (die-hard left-align gal here), but you made it worth the journey :)

Jaymee, I am delighted that you took the time to read this one. I think we all have some insecurities at some point in our lives. It is not easy to be a mature adult. Thanks for the kind review of my work. Sara K

So glad it works so well for you, Gershon. Since my mother died (committed suicide) when I was only 15 months old and in 3 months I was adopted, I understand insecurities completely. Thanks for dropping by. Sara K

Life can issue us insecurities for sure, Anne. We can only work on one at a time with the help of Jesus Christ. Thanks for the nice review of my work. Sara K
