Insecure

INSECURE By Vongai Tinomudaishe Mupetesi
You look at yourself in the mirror
Try to smile but it turns to a frown
Because you don’t like who you are
Therefore you end up feeling down

Always compare yourself to other people
Never satisfied, never secure
Always feeling nothing other than feeble
Because you are insecure
You push away those who love you
Because you are not sure who to trust
You think they will leave you
Because your previous relationships didn’t last

So undecided, making wrong choices
You are impatient, you cant wait till later
Inside you have conflicting voices
You are not sure if you deserve better

So insecure, you don’t show your talents
So insecure, your life is a lament
So insecure, you don’t see your beauty
So insecure, you always feel lonely
So insecure, afraid of taking chances
So insecure, your life is full of pretense
