Insatiable Fire

On marble floor before the queen A chained and beaten prisoner her rein over all was supreme Captured he wouldn't surrender His flesh bloodied and burning What else did she have in store She gazed upon him with yearning Naked on this cold and hard floor His fate to be determined at dawn by her very hand he lives or dies She could not help but be drawn Seeing something within his eyes Even arrogant she couldn't be freed Her intrigue now filled her with desire Pleasures promised this defiant steed Could he quench her insatiable fire

A warrior queen indeed! Still though...a hidden, inner, undeniably femmine side that strives to contain what she herself is reluctant to reveal. Perhaps, as a great leader, she fears some might see it as a sign of weakness? Fascinating stuff, Poetess. Lots of affection as ever. :) john
