Insane

Tacit screams go forever unheard,
Anguish, emptiness, eternally my fear
A bitter end lacking thought or word,

Without breathing I shed a moist tear,
Wrenched are not my hearts true strings
Divine are the entities I hold dear,

I rise up, hoping my heart sings,
Afraid the pain inside me will surely wake
Unaware of what my exaltation brings,

There are accusations that my hurt is fake,
Certainly they must comprehend this is eternal, very real
Time will not help, not cause it to shake,

I wish to plea, to make a deal,
I need to find some peace, something to gain
Something other than sorrow to feel,

I feel I have become insane.
