Innovations a Cage Tribute

ensnared
     abandoned
        to the tempest
eternity fades
disarmed
            by imagination

in the depth
              of solitude
empty regrets
disappear
tranquility
         is expressed
                 in sighs

in my mind
     dreaming
         in this quiet
notes
stream
      in continuous
             contentment

stay awhile
                  listen
thoughts on hold
await the pause
                    suspended

emotions
          of
              calm
                reverie
repeat
revolve
          in circles
intervals
repeat
&
repeat
        then
               appear

               appear
