Innocent Intents

Anxiety Makes your stomach tense When you realize you can’t do anything You feel like a rubber band ready to snap The heartache you can take Until you face him Tell him he made you Feel worshiped with his passionate touch Yet futile from his lies You pray that your heart can endure the agony That stops your breath from passing through your already frigid lungs The only thing you want to ask is Why were you Absorbed by his fabricated compassion? You were taken away from the truth Engulfed with what started as guiltless pleasure
