Innocence of Mind

I ask you to take a minute and look up into the evening sky.
I ask you to remember what a shining star meant to your young mind.

Dreams and desires of a life for you.
Innocence was so important back then.
Innocence was there in you.

Some people never escape that child like innocence of mind.
But it’s not for us to judge people for what we want them to be or what we find.

It’s for us to see people for who they are.
Remember that light always stayed the same, the light of that fading star.
