Innocence Betrayed
They called her everyday
She responded any day
They were her friends anyway
To no one she had to say
Touch, we touch was the play
Do, we do was the way
But soon was a price to pay
Her innocence so betrayed
The story had just began
She would share with none
The journey was steady and on
So in them she pressed upon
Tender in age born of a woman
She left her soul to men
The men with filthy mane
Betrayed her innocence
They made a play with her
They messed and tossed with her
They pressed their urge on her
It was the best of her
And took the innocence of her
Her innocence betrayed
On a cloudy morning
She had a tale of meaning
Her mother busy cleaning
Stopped to see her giggling
He story was just starting
She caught her mother staring
She was happy sharing
Least for her knowing
Her innocence had been robbed
One tear dropped
Two tears dropped
Mothers love hadn't stopped
Her daughter wasn't raped
She was taught and sapped
Baby was keen and apt
By the game of adults
She had been slapped
Little did angel know
It wasn't play and game now
She couldn't figure out how
Her mother explained how
A criminal offence it was
For the crude group of boys
But sadly as it were
Justice she couldn't afford
