Innocence

Enclosed by darkness there by night
Brushed a canvas with color lost
Wandered innocence towards the light
Through a sea of grass once crossed
Perhaps the work of satin’s hand
Tempting this youthful mind
Deception too dark to understand
And to a light too easy to find
