"The dream of a hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul, which opens . . . " Carl Jung, Jungian Psychology I go inner to a place, in the recesses of my heart, my soul and spirit, where a secret sanctum, a haven, refuge exists, it is hidden, deep, deep and intimate, I wander the passages and corridors. This place still silent a retreat refuge hideaway, just a space I can be quiet, like a holy place, a temple, a sanctuary. I have painted it beautiful, I, artist of this innermost sanctum of mine.

Congratulations on your podium win in my contest with this stunning double Fibonacci, Constance:-) One of the best ones I've read in a long time. It's tough to pull off the 21 syllables ender, but you did it twice! Amazing.

To be at ultimate peace where you can call something entirely your own is such an enviable possession. You described your inner sanctum as a delightful oasis, and take us to a place that tantalizes the mind and it left me wishing for just such a place. What a lovely poem, so well told.
