Inner Sanctum
I go deeper,
I go to the hallowed place,
I go to where the night flees,
I go to where the monsters are subdued.
In this place, the vessels are consecrated,
There’s a doorway that leads to redemption,
Our hearts find peace,
Our souls come to serene waters.
I come with my tempestuous sea,
I come with my gloomy chamber,
I come with my battlefield,
I come anticipating heaven’s kiss.
I’m not alone,
I feel the presence of the unseen,
I see an epigraph,
It says, “Life is a colourful twist.”
