-Inner Peace

All l ever wanted for you
From the day you were conceived
Was you to be at peace with yourself
And in yourself believe  

I grew up with inner turmoil
Never feeling good enough
I did not want that for you
As life is way too tough

I believe if one possesses inner peace
Without turmoil internally
All else that is good in life
Will come naturally

You had a wonderful childhood
Were safe, secure and treasured
Supported, encouraged and so very loved
A life well balanced and measured

Now a grown man 
Happy, fulfilled and kind
No internal battles or turmoil
Confident with inner peace and peace of mind
