Inner Pain

Haunted by silence,
Within everything that surrounds me,
My own personal ghosts,
What could have been,
What to change,
Unhappiness I wish to rearrange,
Everything feels so strange,
From the first glimpse of a name,
My entire outlook changed,
Can i be revived?
Can i be saved?
Therein lies the blame,
Of something haunting,
Truly daunting,
Something cold that wraps it's claws around my neck,
I'm breathing now,
But that I could change,
Inside the darkness.. I feel the pain.

Thank you Tim. Someday, I hope my pain will end. I have PTSD. All of my words stem from the angst involved with it.

Hi Charli, wow, I can't help but feel I know this darkness a little to well. It's hard to move away from. However, hope is at the end. Love this verse. SKAT

I think we have a lot in common Skat. I'm still new to this, but if you'd like you could email me at [email protected]
