Inner light

It seems so long since I've seen his face,
This is no longer a home, it's just a place.
If you could catch it, share it,
This one's inner light, it might light the sky
On Earth's darkest of nights.
It might save all of us,
I believe this will happen,
And lighten and brighten,
God's beautiful canvas.
It may be a beacon to guide us to something,
The us that are walking head down into nothing.
I dream of people all gathered around him,
But for now he is he ,
Fighting all of earths demons.
