Inner Light

Inner light
By Michelle Morris

There is darkness in the world
Don't let it destroy your inner light
It won't try and stop
Pursuing its evil delights

The hatred
The jealousy
The unkindness
The hypocrisy

Your inner light is dimmed
But you still wish that
You could win

But you'll never truly succeed
Until your demons
You've defeated
Your darkness you've released
From a soul dying
Within the beast

The love
The oneness
The kindness
The compassionate gift

Your inner light is shining
Your support of mankind
Sublime

You will succeed as a human
When your angelic self
Is freed

The light within
Expanding
Your soul truly living
And your ascension as
A symbol of good's delight
Ever glowing
