Inner Glow
You light up a room with your presence
I notice it every time
There's something innate in your essence
It's subtle but truly sublime
Regardless of what I am doing
I see when you come through the door
Then watch to see where you're going
It's you who I always look for
I position myself to be near you
Though not obvious when I walk by
I'm always looking for reasons
That result in me catching your eye
And whenever I do for a moment
I get shy and I look towards the floor
It's just that whenever you're present
I realize how much I want more
