Inner Feelings
inner feelings race round my brain
not always happy, some causing hurt,
tender moments lost in the past
resurrected each passing hour.
oh how I long for inner peace,
so I stop and try to recount the moments...when
passion turned to despair.
easily drowned in hopes anew
can I can't I, which side will the coin fall.
this not knowing not even caring
in which I lose myself
only for these thoughts to raise their head
nightly when at my rest.
