'ingrained'

Trees are ingrained
  they withstand tough conditions
    to provide cover

Though we don’t always nurture them
   they just keep on toiling
     because God saw it fit
to add them to the realm

Imagine if we were the trees
the way we react to situations,
     adverse times and things

Would we be able to stand and toil?
  Like those embedded trees?

Good day, Wilma!:) Joe left me a comment on "Baba Ghanoush" to come and visit your write. I had read it prior to his suggestion, and do enjoy it as much this time. I don't always leave comments though.:( I think we can "stand the toil" and continue our growth. Best wishes, Mikki

Never tho't of this idea before, but now that u mention it, I would make a horrible tree! I just know I would...I would have to be a WEEPing willow bc I would cry constantly being soooo stationary! Enjoyed the idea behind this one, Wilma!

Honestly, I don't think we could withstand the toils that the tree endures, we would buckle under the incredible pressure and falter! Trees are a special species, an outstanding plant that can withstand so much and still live greatly surviving through everything that is thrown at it...almost everything anyway! I too love the power of the tree! This is a wonderful dedication to the trees and all their grandiosity! Wonderful piece, Great Work!!
