Infinity and I...

Infinity,an ongoing paradox
there is no end, without a beginning,
no center without circumference,
primordial matter the ancient ylem
or...are we and the other orbs, just
ganglions in the almighty universal mind?
light charged signals of transmission
transient thoughts with a purpose,
...maybe a supernova isn't the end,
could be the spark of a new idea
radiant particles splashing
the fabric of space,like
an artist would on blank canvas...

Infinity...whispers to me,
as I gaze continuously,and says
"the depths of you,is as deep as I..."

and with a sigh...I wonder,
will I ever be able to touch such depths...

With a similar title, I wrote,"Where infinity lies". It is written perhaps in a different perspective, but check it out if you like. Peace to you too. Caroline.

It is a wonder indeed! Such fabulous imagery here, Jay! A paradox? Maybe. I am sure there is a beginning to the existence of man. I don't think there will be an end to that, but the Almighty Universal Mind always has been and will be. And from the mind, we have been placed in a position of center of this universe or cosmos. That much we are loved. That much is our true value. Thanks for sharing this jewel of a write and thanks for your kind comments on my latest.

The paradox of infinity, no beginning/no end evokes some philosophical thoughts that you express very well here, Jay. A very deep poem! Love, Carolyn

Brilliantly written a thought provoking Poem. Even you have tried to touch the infinity which otherwise remains always untouched. What a lovely conclusion. I really love these lines ' Infinity...whispers to me, as I gaze continuously, and says" the depths of you, is as deep as I..." You appears to be very close to Indian philosophy of life which says “The Brahma or the God of creation is within us in our mind and heart and soul. Great Write. Love & best wishes..Ravindra. jay del fierro
