Inevitable
As certain as season
Time, too, will change
Requires no reason
Seems awful strange
But just how the rooster
Will crow at the sun
All knots become looser
Until they’re undone
A temporary green
So bright and alive
How youthful, it seems
But don’t blink an eye
Because all that is new
Will, someday, grow old
Be sure to be present
To watch things unfold
