Indulge Me

I woke up this morning with you in mind
I wanted to tell you that
I miss you...I miss us and what we have
If I had one wish
That could be granted instantaneously
The phantom of ancient relationships
Would dissipate into the abyss
So we can start the adventure of our lives
How can it be winter in spring time
Summer in autumn
It is simply because thoughts continue to follow
The hearts guidance
Of unworthiness, mistrust, and pain
This is an illusion
Of what you really have to gain
I miss your embrace
And what I always anticipate when you around
Let me remove that frown
Upon your face and give you a true future
One you will never want to erase
Let me give you happiness you can see
Please indulge me....
