Indolence At Midnight

the smell is heavy and slow
                                   moles
                                    rats
                           fish on the shore
                                   birds
                                   grass
                                  leaves
                                branches
                           jasmine sambac

                     everything rots at night

                                 eternity
                                 echoing
                                "eternity"
                          your blue whisper
                               in the room

feminine is the smell of death
