Indifferent Eyes

Under the gloomy light at the gates of a railway station
She walked up the stairs towards the door
he followed behind her, his lips wanting to kiss
when she turned to him, the darkness of his past
began clouding his heart to her indifferent eyes
he walked away home that night.
knowing he is alone again in this world
reminded by the gaze from the girl's eyes,
that told him, "you don't belong here."
