You are the pride of a nation revealing the beauty of it's people you reflect a nation's heart, mind, and soul more brilliantly than pavo cristatus... With grace and agility you embody the power of your people youthful energy unyielding strength rivaled only by panthera tigris... You are the nelumbo nucifera gaertn the sacred flower of your people keeper of art, music, mythology guardian of it culture... Your thoughts branch out into words like the branches of the ficus bengalensis which re-root themselves into fertile soil those words take root in the hearts of your people and become immortal... You are more than the pride of a nation Mundaka Upanishad scripture said satyameva jayate you are proof that truth alone triumphs...

This is wonderful. I was involved in Self Realization Fellowship here in Hollywood. I still have many books I still read and love. Haven't read all your poetry yet, just found you tonight. I will catch up as you are so worth it.

Robert, this leads me to believe you have been there and know the people there personally. There are such great poets here from that country. Is this about one of the soup poets from there? Or could be someone else in your life from this wonderful country.

This is a poet friend who's not on soup. She's a young Lady with a beautiful heart, mind and soul. We talk a lot but we are just friends. Believe it or not I've never been to India. I got my info for the poem from her and research on line.
