Indian lady

I think
Sacrifice should be women's first name.
No matter
Where you stand
People respect you for bowing down.
"Wow, this is called indian lady."
It's not something she want  to hear.
Compromise
Or you are selfish
Ungrateful
Disrespectful
Bad.
I know there's a change
But that woman in a village
Handling this with a smile
You are a girl
You have to do it.
When will it change?
My father, even mother
Never slapped me.
So how would I allow
When a man, I should respect
Doesn't even hesitate to imprint his hand.
Who will save me from someone
Who's supposed to save me.
Whenever I think
We are evolving past our stereotypes
Society makes me want to hate every men.
Victims aren't supposed to change
Dear men, it's you who need to change.
I will be proud of you
For making me feel safe.
It doesn't mean
You have to bow down
In the world of equality
Respect someone's self respect.
