Independent Woman

Independent Woman
Does what she wants to, not always doing what she has to
Not answering to a man about her every move
Working a powerful position in the work place
     Spending her own money
      Bought her own house
       Bought her own car
        Pays her bills
         Single, so she mingles

So...why does she need a man?

Because a man helps the night go smoothly..a man will do things that your best woman friend will never do...a man will also drive you nuts and you know we all need a little insanity in our lives.

If one can remove the gender qualifier, either sex can survive without a soul-mate....according to recently published studies however.....not as long......thanks for comments! Sabrina! love the question asked of the reader in this timely poem of emancipation...being obviously male, I'm grateful we have the Poet 'Robert Bly' to help guide us "emasculated" Men!!!!! (I hope I didn't swat a hornet's nest! ;) jimmy
