USA Independence Day
A day to rejoice and to remember
Set aside the bitter lessons of war
Not only peace-loving Americans but all others
That indeed her sons and daughters are the pioneers
Democrats and Republicans alike
From Washington down to Obama
Must join hands together
So, political parties in other parts of the world
Will follow as sovereign in their own rights
In the name of DEMOCRACY
That indeed, ours is a gov’t of, by and for the people
The statue of Liberty here enshrined
A glorious remembrance that
We are man of all nations
“In God We Trust”
