Incontrovertible

words can heal,
                                         they can transform,
                                    they can
                               turn dark days bright,
                          but they can also
                     inflict wounds,
               destroy,
          so they must
     be used
with great care.
     watch your tongue,
          lest you fork lightning
               of withering havoc
                    when
                          passion catches fire.
                              mind your words;
                         recognize their
                    power.
               a misused tongue,
          an epee piercing
     deep into
the core
     of the soul.
          stay calm,
               count to 10;
                    remember,
                         nasty invectives
                              can never be unsaid.
                                   when
                                        angry, watch your tongue!
