Incomplete Image

There are so many PIECES in this jigsaw puzzle,
pieces of YOU, pieces of ME,
maybe pieces that we could NEVER see.
It's hard to put TOGETHER
when you can't see the big picture.
Is it LIGHT?
Is it DARK?
Will we tear it APART before it's finished?
Let's just find the EDGES first,
then we'll fill them in between.
MAYBE it will make things easier,
Maybe a picture will start to be seen.
But you LOST interest too easily
and MORE and more pieces were FOUND by me
as LESS of you began to show.
Now I am left feeling INCOMPLETE
as the IMAGE forms
and you don't seem to fit.
