Incomplete Confusion

INCOMPLETE CONFUSION

Some things are meant to be
Not because we can't change them
but because we shouldn't
While others are not meant to be
and until we take the bold step
It will surely be.

I've always heard of regrets
the next stage after disappointment
Painful it is when you hope for things
Only to know that, it is not yours.
All efforts wasted, attempts ruined.

Why don't we want what wants us?
Are alternate angles really equal?
Can we ever get all we want?
Why take a step when there are millions of steps to take?
It all begins with a step; so they say
If the steps are not complete,
of what significance is the first?

Courage is fraudulent and boldness deceitful
While strength is disappointing
I heard hope say i'm present
I tell faith of its funeral
No need for belief for it is lost
Open eyes; active brain.

Is this the end of those dreams?
The beginning of this state of mind
Is that it is not ending soon.
