Inches Away

Only inches away from success 'Twas the chance one takes For promoting aggressive ideas It's become almost expected In this day and age But has it really been any different Right back to Lincoln How many other U.S. presidents Have had their lives threatened Or been successful in their attempt Let me count their numbers From Lincoln to John F. Kennedy Many more will be selected
