Great acrostic on a wonderful actor. Well written. From comments on F/B page (P &P) I admire your knowledge on formats, and would appreciate some advice. Are 'name poems' just 'name poems' or can they be acrostic and name poems, as you have done here. I wrote a poem called "I am a Poem", trying to use Acrostic format--would appreciate if you took a look and could advise me. Thanks Debbie.

A Name Poem, or Acrostic Poem, tells about the word. It uses the letters of the word for the first letter of each line. You know name could be a sub category.

Perfect choice........not only as a "dream-boat", actor, but as a human being who cared about his fellow man! I fell in love with his blue eyes in "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" when I was a kid !

DEBBIEEEEEEE....You surely know how to pick them! Those amazing blue eyes! Wow! What a looker! :) AND....you mentioned apostle Paul...MY FAVORITE BIBLE WRITER! My Bible is underlined left right and center with gems from his epistles! :) Lovely write! I echo Andrea's question: why an acrostic? PS...thanks for being there for me today. I'm better now! :)

So what inspired you to do an acrostic, Debs? ARe you going to do a contest maybe? I remember some acrostic contests here a long time ago. paul Newman was a fantastic guy and he even got into the food industry at the end? Did you ever buy his products? I enjoyed this tribute to a great man.
