Incarnation Of Jesus
As the Polaris shines at day-night, night-day transition
And lightens up nooks and crannies of all eight directions
To confirm the covenant as per David's tradition
The Virgin brought forth the prism of multi-hued reflections
As per the saints' and sages' prophecies, the endless Word
From the tiny town of Bethlehem, he began his strife
As perceived by the Spirit, he'd rewrite history's pages.
He'd be at the helm like a good captain, risking his life.
The spark of the eternal and divine word in nature
That, once, was with the omnipresent and omnipotent
Pitched his tent amidst human folk as their loving neighbour.
Spreading light like the galaxy, bright and magnificent
Renouncing the glorious heavenly thrones, he descended.
History, for a while, like a faint clock, stood suspended.
