and that at death we slip into a calm awakening."

          The Taoists
             believe that death
                is not 
                   the end but is
                      just the beginning

                        Beyond death
                           some souls
                              incarnate
                                 again
                                    to new life

                                      Like cycles
                                         of seasons life is
                                            circular, beginnings
                                               new
                                                   birth, death, incarnate
