Notes About The Poem

Image result for pictures of lovers looking into each other's eyes

Incandescence

Lover heated to incandescence, gasp
Tries to break away, runs, trips, falls, tumbles
In uncertainty's way, lands, yet is clasp
By the tight controls of passions, mumbles
Knows this relationship already crumbles

Incandescence heats a wire to glow
Passion's fieriness in eyes' windows show
Lovers' light with flames shining like stars bright
'Til the first problem cast lovers into throes
Will their passion join them, their foe to fight?

Andrea, My carpal tunnel thing had been off and on for years then it started up again and it has stayed. The pain is was awful at night which meant sleepless nights. I went to the doctor before we were told to stay at home because of the pandemic and he did the injections in my hand and I got some relief for about 5 months. It has been back for about two months. It is some better but the numbness in my thumb and pointer finger is still there and one side of my ring finger is partly numb. SK

A fine poem relating the uncertainty of new love. Will their passions join them to fight their foe. Often it tears them apart. Great job her. God Bless, JB

I think you not only encapsulated the image of incandescence, also represented a harsh interpersonal scenario. Really cool, solid entry.
