Inauguration Day

Well Mister Trump it will soon be your inauguration day
What words of wisdom will you have to say
Will you bring our country together or tear it further apart
Be the president for everyone, be humble from the start
The world is watching your every move
Play the YMCA song to get you in the groove
The people have spoken and have given you four more years
Bring us some joy and happiness, let there be no fear
We are a country of proud people both rich and poor
Make wise decisions we could not ask for anything more
Treat everyone with respect and dignity with your actions and words
Be positive and guiding but allow the people to be heard

David Fisher January 18, 2025 at 3:52 PM This is a heartfelt and timely rhyme, John, that's probably a longed for request by many. I used to think this way too, but luckily I realized they're all in it together, whether it's Coke vs. Pepsi, red vs. blue.
