Inaudible, Unseen
the soul has eyes,
more visionary than visual,
that see through
dark caverns of pretensions
where hollow,
hypnotic hypocrisy resounds,
which, to the eavesdropping ear,
is completely
inaudible;
the soul has ears,
more sensuous than sensory,
that hear
the faintest throbbing of life itself,
there in the blood,
vibrant, visible in every vein,
which, by the most watchful eye,
is completely
unseen.
