Inanimate Hopes

Crystal ball what do you see Why is the world laughing at me Tell me what can you foresee Show me where to regain my integrity Crystal ball do you mock my lack of dignity Give me answer, give me a clue What is there left for me to do If I ran without a plan to ever return Would I destroy the flame inside that makes me burn Do i stay inside the shadows, and simply remain so shallow Why do I rant, and sit to bellow, throw you hard against the wall Shatter my last hopes to end my fall, I feel my insides bleed Picked up the shards, proceeded to feed Choking to death on a crystal ball
