In Your Left

I walk with a spring
A hop and I sing
I’m happy to be yours
To have found a love like ours

I dance like a pin in a spin
I shoot like a spring filled with jubilation
I’m an evergreen garden of flowers
A guardian of time, `ours

Your words are magic
A living, moving, feeling lyric
A potent tonic
So intense, even toxic

In your face, I read,
In your space, I feed
In your tears, I found my humanity
In your fears, I’ve learnt my masculinity

My heart knows no alternative
My mind has no answer to this innovative
Your words are epic
A love’s mimic

My world’s wrapped around your finger
I embrace life like a ring with vigour
Without your half, my heart is cold
In your left my heart is gold
